Ann Coughlan 
Meet Ann Coughlan, the trusted dog walker you’ve been looking for! Since 2018, Ann has made it her mission to care for your pets as if they were her own. Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, she brings not only her expertise but also a genuine sense of security that lets you breathe easy, knowing your furry family members are in the best possible hands.
A proud graduate of Colorado State University in 2021, Ann founded her pet care business with heart and purpose. Named after her beloved Newfoundland, Peppy, the business is built on a foundation of love, trust, and dedication to providing top-notch, personalized pet care. From dogs and cats to snakes, birds, and even bunnies—Ann’s lifelong connection with animals gives her a deep understanding of what makes each species tick and how to give them the care they deserve.
Ann doesn’t just care about pets—she cares about the community too! Her active involvement with local rescues shows her passion for making a difference, and it’s this community-focused spirit that helps her build meaningful, trust-filled relationships with every client.

Joshua
Dog Walker + Pet Care Specialist · Fort Collins + Windsor
Joshua is a Colorado State University graduate who grew up in Thornton, Colorado and now lives in Fort Collins. He’s a total dog person… with three dogs across his world: Bogie and Hagan at his parents’ home, and Juniper here in Fort Collins. His favorite Fort Collins ritual is taking dogs to City Park to lounge in the grass and play fetch.
Before Peppy’s, Joshua worked at Cold Stone Creamery, with the Colorado State University Athletics ticketing office, and as a teaching assistant for an astronomy class at CSU. He also competed nationally in collegiate handball, and still plays softball and volleyball whenever he can. That mix… college-town familiarity, customer service experience, and a real athletic background… shows up in how he handles dogs. He has the energy for a high-drive walker and the patience for a senior dog who just needs slow loops and sniff time.
Joshua is a Type 1 diabetic and a public advocate with Breakthrough T1D and Beyond Type 1, working to make supplies and education more accessible. He also supports Doctors Without Borders. We mention this because the kind of person who advocates that openly for others is the same kind of person you can trust in your home with your dog.
Joshua completed Peppy’s full in-house pet care training under Ann before his first solo walk, and operates under the same insured, bonded, CPR + First Aid-backed safety protocols as the rest of the team.

How We Hire and Train
- A personal interview and reference check with Ann (no subcontractors, no third-party platforms).
- In-house pet care training in Peppy’s safety protocols, hot-weather rules, leash handling, and emergency procedures… taught by Ann, who is CPR + First Aid certified for pets.
- A shadow period with Ann before any solo walks. No team member walks a client’s dog alone until Ann has signed off.
- Coverage under Peppy’s Pet Care’s full insurance and bonding policy.
